[ on the day of her birthday, a rather large parcel is left at the door of her room during what could be considered lunchtime for most of the individuals on the base. the package shouldn't be difficult to spot from a distance. considering the fact it was wrapped in brightest orange wrapping paper that eve could apparently find.
inside the package are the following items:
her cake- one confectionery cake that has been shaped and decorated into the form of a little panda that beams up at her happily. eve tried her best to make sure it tasted sweet but not too sweet just in case. (along with the cake is also a small pouch of black and white candies. just in case she does want something sweeter for this very special occasion. never hurts to be too careful!)
and there's the present. presents, really, since inside a box within the box is a trio of bracelets that eve crocheted for her. they're in the theme of hajime's favourite flowers she mentioned to eve, an example being a bracelet of daffodils.
the final item that can be found inside is a handmade birthday card that, when open, reveals a popup that depicts a vase full of plum blossoms in order to brighten hajime's day. in the card, despite how faint her handwriting is for some reason, eve wishes her a lovely day and hopes she has many more joyous occasions in the years to come.

I received your present. It was so beautiful, Eve-chan! I took a bunch of pictures before I even touched it because I wanted to remember what it looked like. Thinking about how long you must have worked on it makes me feel so honored. And the fact that many other people will also get to have something this thoughtful given to them is an even better feeling. You are going to put so many smiles on a lot of faces because of how kind you are!!!
I tried looking for you but I didn't see you around, so I hope this note gets to you safely. We should have tea together someday! Ada-chan can come too, does she like tea? Or we can do something else but I really want to properly give you my thanks for this.
