[those words warm his a lot, and the blush on his cheeks is one of contentment. hajime has that kind of effect on people, and it's not lost on makoto; he, who craves others to notice him for who he is and not for who he walks home with, nor for who is on his team. it's the individual victories that really help out makoto, and hajime has been nothing but amazing at taking notice of them and making them bloom.]

Right! I mean, we've been doing pretty well here, haven't we?
[ like... there was the toilet issue and how badly they organized the base before annabeth showed up. and maybe their priorities aren't always pointed in the right direction? but overall, the crew members have done a fairly decent job at adapting into this new situation they've all been forced into. and despite all the very different personality types and arguments they might have, they more or less get along. especially when it matters?
